Rise Up Babylon is Emily’s story, with timelines shuffled and characters recombined. Emily wrote the music and story for Rise Up Babylon while she was sequestered to bedrest for over 2 years as a result of a complicated hip injury. Emily is a singer, songwriter, pianist, dancer, and producer, fueled by a deep love of nature and her belief that music, as a universal language, can connect and heal our world.

Emily (aka Madam Snowflake) has released 17 albums and is the CEO of ArtisTech Media — she leads the global music community ccMixer.org. At the turn of the millennium, Emily was one of the first artists to make her music available for free on the web and became the most downloaded artist on the revolutionary site MP3.com. During the MP3.com 50 city Summer Tour that Emily headlined with 100 other bands, tragedy struck. Emily’s little sister Annie was killed in a horrible accident. And that changed everything.

Diving deeper, Emily dedicated her art to her sister. Her music opens the heart with messages of inclusion, harmony, and evolution and is heard all over the world — from huge festivals in Europe to thousands of videos on YouTube.

Rise Up Babylon was inspired by Emily’s strict upbringing. It was music that expanded her understanding beyond that of her youth.

Emily’s passion for our planet is not limited to her music. Founder of nonprofit AWAKE Community, Emily is committed to sustainability and studying Indigenous Wisdom.
