John (Idris) Jones (born Hammersmith, UK) is a musician, composer, engineer, and record producer known for working with Duran Duran and Fleetwood Mac and for winning a Grammy for producing Celine Dion.

Jones worked alongside George Martin at AIR Studios in London to produce Yes, The Rolling Stones, Paul Rogers, Paul McCartney, Terence Trent D'Arby, The Outfield, Mark Knopfler, Roy Wood, and that’s where his relationship with Duran Duran was born.

Jones produced several albums for Emily Richards, including the top-charting hit "To Love You" which was downloaded more than one million times.

Jones is a singer-songwriter in his own right and is a multi-instrumentalist, including piano, guitar, bass and programming.
